The heavily branded national competition received massive media coverage including television TV NZ 6pm News, Campbell Live, Appropriate Morning, What Now, radio interviews Newstalk AB with Mike Hoskings, Radio Live with Maggie Barrie, press articles Sunday Star Times, Herald on Sunday, Dominion Post, Waikato Times, as healthy as magazines and several suburban newspapers. The Red Nose Jaffa Family Laughter Day received great local and national coverage with media attending the event and press releases sent out on the day, gaining great results for Jaffa and the Cure Kids brands. This project required a 360 degree communications' strategy, as while the Californian Medjool Date market is burgeoning globally, it is tranquil in its infancy stage in New Zealand. We have two distinctly different divisions one specializing in FMCG and Pharmaceuticals, the other focusing on the Corporate and Industrial sectors.
AM Group managed all facets of the Dr Teddy’s campaign, busy closely with TAPS to earnings approval for all advertising and training material, the media, pharmacy staff and the sales teams, delivering effective results for the Dr Teddy’s brand. Marketing and business development strategy, concept development and tactical execution for the industrial and business to business sectors. Over the campaign, a massive 22,00 TNCC samples were given out and over 120 people attended the pirate sailing events, creating large awareness of the TNCC brand and its core values of creative and automatic play. AM was given the defy of leveraging Cadbury Jaffa’s sponsorship of Cure Kids Red Nose Day, occupied collaboratively with a expansive variety of sponsors and agencies.
As the annual Fresh Zealand Vegemite Spelling Bee grows, so will Vegemite’s brand association and loyalty. Prior establishing AM Communications in 1992, Alison had more than 10 years experience busy with iconic print media publications including the NZ Listener, NZ Woman’s Day, Australian Women’s Weekly and Following Magazine. We decided to extend the campaign to entice media attention before, during and behind the awards. As the official trivial appliance sponsor of the Food Show, Ken wood wanted to showcase its European design, quality and innovation.

The event was hugely successful in building awareness around the Jaffa Brand and its sponsorship of the Cure Kids Foundation. AM is looking forward to busy with Best Foods to remain building the brand profile and driving sales of Best Foods mayonnaise.
After completing postgraduate studies in Marketing Hons and achieving Chartered Marketing status, Alan established AM group in 1987, initially focused on the industrial and B2B sectors. AM Group worked with the Food Disclose and each chef to ensure the Ken wood Kitchen received highest exposure with press releases, chef interviews in local papers and radio, and the Ken wood Kitchen schedule was published in main metro papers, websites and social media. This allowed consumers to comprehend both the versatility and taste of the product.
In the PR and Communications area Chelsea has been involved in a number of lofty profile FMCG campaigns including food, household products and beauty sectors. An online and magazine advertising campaign was created showing the versatility and health benefits of Californian Medjool dates, while driving consumers to the new website for recipes. This communications programmed successfully created consumer awareness for Californian Medjool Dates and tripled sales over the four month campaign.
