Behind a competitive pitch, Brandspank were awarded the task of creating this fresh brand with the aim to represent the aspirations of the channel and resonate with an audience who, more than most, grip this category dear.
The Sky Sport brand has become one of New Zealand's most obvious and well loved brands. The coded font allowed for the concept of questioning to be injected throughout titles, headlines and brand statements. The overall treatment and continuity across all on air elements created a unified and entire brand aesthetic, resulting in the design winning Gold for Channel Brand of the Year in Australia, 2013. Active collaboratively with both SKY and Hyundai, our treatment old the visual language of line and reflection commonly seen in tall end car commercials, applying that aesthetic to a graphic and stylized Rugby sequence.
Brandspank was chosen to create the official World Rugby opening titles sequence for the world feed of Rugby World Cup 2015. GLOW is a large scale annual Christmas event held at Vector arena, enjoyed by a crowd of 10,00 people and pitched at a broad family audience. World Feed opening titles for the 35th America’S CUP World Series from Brandspank on video. The brief challenged design agencies to create a brand which would donate permission for an audience to re appreciate the content once again.
Highlighting international festival film, documentaries and sport, the new look required to feel new and contemporary to match the quality of programming on offer. Brandspank was brought on to complete all branding and marketing prosperity for the development. Brandspank was commissioned by Viacom to write and provide 6 fresh channel dents for Comedy Central Fresh Zealand. Revolving around five individuals that live it rough, the launch required to hero the show's main characters while challenging our perspective on how they lived their lives.
Brandspank was approached to deliver the brand and identity for TV NZ's fresh Friday evening general entertainment show, Kiwi Living. To launch Pulse a potent visual brand was developed, a brand that stamps it’s ownership across it’s content in a manner that feels contemporary while referencing the boldness of customary newspaper headlines. Jones brings life back into the content by mimicking key moments from our favorite shows and by speaking to the audience with familiarity throughout all promotional material. Extending beyond immaculate television, the brand's presence is felt at nearly every major Fresh Zealand sports event, as well as key international tournaments
