What you should know about Dunholme Lawn Tennis Club Inc
We have 3 synthetic courts and organised play all year round, so you're not just restricted to summer months. Members were involved in interclub tournaments by the mid 1930's and particularly relished regular get togethers for dances, plays and socials at members' properties, local halls and at the clubrooms. Then in 1957 the members of the club started two years of fundraising to purchase the courts and clubhouse from Richard Pearse for a cost of about 2,500. The current clubhouse which was erected around 1963, was refurbished in 200 including the installation of a new kitchen and two bathrooms. The deck was also rebuilt and the wire netting 'balustrading' replaced with smart clear glass panels around the viewing deck.
