Major fit out and extension to an existing manufacturing facility and warehouse. The first, completed in July 2011, was for the design and construction of a fresh 14 million milk processing plant including milk reception area, silo bases, drier and evaporator building, packing room, handle room, dry store and all amenities. The building incorporates 2 internal stores of offices, meeting rooms and amenities.
This project comprised the construction of 5,00m2 of bulk retail space with 500m2 offices on the first floor, including the entire internal fit out and services as needed by the tenants. The structures are starting to take shape at Pahiatua, with the steel framed packing building underway, the column erection of the main drier tower going up, and the team looking to entire the slick 6. Ebert has been awarded a fresh design construct project for Tetra Pa to build a HT Milk Plant for Oceania Dairy at their existing site in Glenavy, South Canterbury. The scope of building works included a Milk Reception Area, Silo Bases, Drier and Evaporator buildings, Powder Bin Room, Packing Room, Drystore, Canopy, Regulate Room, In Process Laboratory, Changing Areas, Amenities and associated site works. This will be one of Fonterra’s largest and most efficient facilities once construction is total and will create around 50 fresh fulltime jobs in the local area
