Our company traces its roots back to 1978 when Laurie Dennis Medforth and their partner bought an engineering company then called Fryco Products Limited which originally began life in the 1950's.
They advanced the company by investing in the latest and highest quality equipment, expanding the company's capabilities and partnering with Colin Mason in 2006 under the corporate name of fel. We currently have five product divisions and continue to innovate and provide high quality products to our loyal customers. We are committed to quality management and we continue to successfully demonstrate our ability to not only meet the statutory requirements of the AS NZS ISO accreditation standards but also continue to meet the high expectations of our clients by reviewing our own processes and striving to innovate and improve. Our proven reputation for high quality products allows us to offer workmanship guarantees of up to 10 years for many of our Street Furniture NZ products. Our quality system was designed to operate in conjunction with our manufacturing system.
The works order travels with the components through the entire production process. Welding and assembly jigs are important tools in production manufacturing and are often used to maintain consistency. Group have worked hard for me maintaining a good relationship in providing answers to all my queries and providing information and high quality products that are reflective of Auckland City and themselves. Group are a professional organisation who take pride in their products and services and are a company that I have enjoyed working with.

When a senior employee Chokes you they don’t do anything about it and just give the person a free vacation and don’t do any remedial work such as management courses for further issues to be deescalated and will also turn police investigating an assault away, also their health and safety manager was ok with angle grinders with no side handle and are fine with sanding machines running in high 000s of RPMs, they will ensure profit over worker safety, their floor managers wear crocs and jorts with loose threads hanging out while they work on machinery that could either catch their pants or crush their rubber shoes, the tools provided are often held together with tape and to top it off half the tools have been brought in by the employees because the company doesn’t see a need to replace the drills that have tape all on them to ensure they don’t fall apart, do not trust this company they do not conduct their internal business well and will choose profit over safety of employees
