Other MPI regulations, awaiting government sign off and due to come into force on next August , will require farmers to provide loading facilities so that young calves can walk directly and safely from the loading bay onto the collection truck. MPI is introducing 500 infringement notices for some breaches and may prosecute for other breaches.
