Whenever I have engaged the services of a therapist, a coach or supervisor, which I have, I need to feel a rapport with them and to also feel that I can trust them to maintain my confidentiality, to listen without judgment, no matter what I say, and to be able to use their experience, knowledge and training to help me move forward. I have many years' experience dealing with men, women, young and elderly, from countries all over the world from a number of different religious and spiritual backgrounds and who have a wide range of issues in life that they want to deal with. I have worked in several clinical services including Drug and Alcohol, Sexual Health, Refugee Torture and trauma, Family Court relationship counselling and meditation ACC for sexual assault, and as a financial coach.
While away I trained as a maternity nurse post natal care which I thoroughly enjoyed and I worked with some newborns and their families in China, London and Europe. I can help people to change their life direction when they feel lost, lonely stuck or unhappy and can help people to create healthy and successful relationships and give clarity of vision in their life. I have learnt a lot and my life is certainly more manageable and enjoyable now. She was very caring and kind and though I can't remember much about what happened during those sessions, they certainly helped. Sam's office became a place I looked forward to going to and being able to just be however I was and know that it was Ok.
