It has grown to become NZ’s largest designer and manufacturer of specialist noise control systems to the industrial and commercial markets. The company has developed acoustic engineering techniques and products utilising NZ raw materials, which have been proven in hundreds of installations. Noise Control Services Ltd’ was founded in 1981 by Paul J Rayner, a mechanical and acoustics engineer.
Neil Savory has been with NCS Acoustics Ltd Formerly Noise Control Services Ltd since 1995 as a senior acoustic engineer and became Managing Director in 2013. He has many years industry experience as an Acoustic Consultant, with NCS Acoustics Ltd and previously Marshall Day Acoustics Ltd. Neil is still hands on’, meeting clients, helping develop solutions and overseeing projects, as well as managing and growing the business. He has prior experience with HVAC companies including Taylor Richardson Ltd, Ziehl ebm, and Ductline NZ Ltd. He has many years of practical industry experience and uses that to ensure clients receive the best value solution from NCS. He is a family man with 3 grown children, has served on a Primary School Board of Trustees and is currently involved in managing a rugby team for East Coast Bays RFC in the North Harbour U85 Competition. Ray undertakes regular field work including noise and airflow surveys and the production of reports. Ray has an impressive work history with the Royal Air Force, Cullum Detuners Ltd and S P Coil Products Ltd. He is a member of the IMechE, a Chartered Engineer, a Professional Member of IPENZ and a Member of the Acoustical Society of New Zealand. Ray is married, has 2 children and is a rugby referee for Counties Manukau RFU. A retired soccer player, he also follows many other sports, and fishes whenever possible!. Her friendly voice is often the one to answer calls and she will direct you to who is best able to assist.
