Since we started in 1980, Odyssey has helped thousands of New Zealanders to overcome alcohol, drug and gambling addiction problems. We are a not for profit organisation and our focus is helping people to turn their lives around. They respect us for our caring approach and single minded devotion to achieving good outcomes for those who come to us for help. With a collective of more than 140 specially trained professionals, we run seven treatment centres and a variety of community programmes in the Auckland region and Whangarei.
The breadth of knowledge and experience of our team allows us to offer a wide range of programmes and services that are tuned to the needs of the people we help. We are leaders in changing lives we provide the best possible therapeutic care to the maximum possible number of clients
We also help you to make long term employment and education plans, flourish your family support network and learn parenting skills. As part of this leadership component, the Youth intact hub will be a center of excellence for the delivery of superior practice clinical support, workforce development and youth engagement throughout the Waikato, fostering greater collaboration among the Waikato youth AD secondary and primary workforce, as healthy as the community and youth sector workforce. We also have a facility for families, so that children can be with their parents during their recovery journey.
We are committed to growing our understanding of the current and changing needs of our communities, as healthy as the effectiveness of addiction treatments and interventions. For each of our partner schools, we have two trained alcohol and drug practitioners who labor together with the incredible school encourage staff team to promote students.
