The Samala Robinson Academy SRA is New Zealand’s leading fashion makeup school. We are dedicated to the finest standards in training, creativity and self expression and have taught some of the country’s top makeup artists. Our comprehensive courses give students the best possible skills training for careers in fashion, cosmetic companies, film, stage and television. While the academy has grown offering more classes every year, our class sizes remain small so that our philosophy can stay true. SRA was established in 200 by leading New Zealand makeup artist Samala Robinson, who has over 25 years of experience in fashion, film and television. Passionate about professional makeup and helping students reach their full potential, Samala set up SRA to pass on her knowledge and to create a space where people could train through hands on learning, professional advice and quality products, using the academy’s signature makeup line, Samala Cosmetics
When I left school I was on the beginning available ERA course to begin my lengthy and exciting career in the beauty industry. A recent star graduate from ERA, and a member of the Samara Cosmetics Clever team, Aaron chose makeup as a career because he loves to make people feel and look beautiful.
Such an outstanding course so much assist and love goes into everything! I loved going on labor experience occupied on school productions, fashion shows and Fashion Week was so fun! What I really liked the most about my course at ERA is that you can everlasting ask tutors for help. Since then I've been a occupied makeup artist, and have worked in most areas of the industry at one time or another. She has been with us since 2008 and is passionate about helping students become the best they can be. Inspired by her time at ERA, Heather decided to become a tutor at the academy herself. In addition to loving working with the ERA tutors, Sarah enjoyed using Samara Cosmetics during her training.

Samara Cosmetics was created by healthy obvious New Zealand professional makeup artist, Samara Robinson. Well, I have graduated with Excellence which means I was lucky enough to become part of the Samara Cosmetics Original Team, where we had amazing opportunities within the industry such as being segment of the backstage team doing makeup for Miss New Zealand 2016 and Fresh Zealand Fashion Week 2016. Such an amazing course so much help and love goes into everything! Anyone who wants to be qualified to create professional looking makeup on themselves.
