The new Village Structure Plan is now Operative and Clevedon will soon be subject to the subdivision and development provided for by Plan Change 32. South side is leading the consortium promoting this 350 canal side section development on North Road, Clevedon about 500 meters from the river mouth and a concise run to Waiheke and the Hauraki Gulf. Behind many years of struggle involving Councils and the Environment Court we have recently gained approval from the Auckland Unitary Plan Panel pap and this was subsequently ratified by the full Auckland Council. All apartments were successfully sold to occupiers and investors and the building continues to be a triumph with lofty occupancy.
The succeeding are a selection of recent projects from the end 10 years that indicate the scope of projects we’ve been involved in. South side in conjunction with a JV partner have plans to carry out a residential and commercial subdivision, to be known as Glen cairn. South side with Dryden Property Ltd is a partner in Creating Communities Ltd with Arrow International and Hopper Developments which is T Saki Redevelopment Company's preferred partner in a programmed to redevelop areas of Glen Ines with new cozy low maintenance houses some 350 in total across approx 13 hectares of land. We went through a lengthy fight to gain resource consent for a twin tower student accommodation scheme to house over 1,00 students in gross floor area of approx 25,00 sq dramatically lifting what was thought feasible on what is a challenging site. We spent 6 months obtaining a resource consent for a 16 store residential tower, and subsequently unsold after receiving an give from another developer.
Upon completion of the tower development, all basement car parking in the building was retained by South side Group McLeod Group as an investment. A mufti story building owned with a partner for abundant years, during which time it was substantially upgraded. A joint Venture with Hopper Developments Limited consisting of a total of 145 houses. Nixon Central is an exciting fresh development for Kings land, located a stone’s throw to the shops, train station, and Nixon Park.
Lengthy term, our aim is to flourish the site by constructing a 16 deposit student or residential accommodation building. 0471 ha of Leasehold Property, with 13,200m2 of industrial buildings. We expect to announce a major partners involvement in the imminent tomorrow but in the meantime we are proceeding with the planning and lodgement of a number of Resource Consents needed to get this project underway. South side designed and developed this tower of 140 apartments across 16 stores, and 3 basement vehicle parking levels.
South side negotiated the purchase of this excellent building and manages it for an overseas investor to retain in his portfolio. The team led by locals Jane Masters, a planner, and Nick Henshaw, a landscape architect undertook a program of local engagement leading to over 1300 ideas from the community.
