Doug Brooker, formerly in sales at IBM, founded Systems Advisory Services in 1974. One of our strongest and most enduring partnerships is with the NZ Automobile Association NZAA . We have been developing a front end portal to the IBM Power System to manage the credit bureau operations. In 2013 SASIT established an Australian subsidiary, Systems Advisory Services Pty. CEO, Phil Martin, and Group COO, Matt Roberts lead this new business initiative. In mid 2015 we signed a five year outsourcing agreement with Kmart Tyre Auto Service. We rebuilt their IT environment and then helped move their ERP system into the Sydney data centre.
We will use the experience from our New Zealand operations to provide managed services to this market. This represents a significant boost to reshaping our business and refocusing our resources. This includes including two experienced new environments managers business unit from the commercial sector. His title changes from Group General Manager to Chief Operations Officer COO . This consists of our project management office and two service delivery managers.
One of these new managers is our former Customer Services Manager, Lynlee Scott. The Operations team comprises 11 service professionals delivering the following Tier 1 support . He has spent most of his 20 year career operating in high availability environments, with experience in ICT strategy development, managed services, service delivery, operational readiness, and IT risk assurance. The Managed Services team comprises 18 staff, grouped into three units that provide Tier 2 support . The Development team is experienced in the use of technologies in a utility based market.
