What you should know about Veterinarw Associates Takanini
Veterinary Associates began practice in the 1950s and has offered top quality comprehensive veterinary services to South Auckland pet lovers, horse owners and farmers ever since. With the future in mind it was decided to build a more specialised and technologically advanced facility catering to the needs of our discerning clientele. Yet one, which still would communicate a quality, reputable image in keeping with the important role, we play in animal health. The layout and ambience we have are based on international trends and in keeping with our aim of creating a truly world class facility for you and your pets.
Dr Mark Clinning is the only remaining vet of the original vets who built the hospital. He is currently the senior vet and he co owns the practice with Dr Andrew Bootle who has been with us for over 8 years. Our original logo was designed in 1995 and it has undegone a few modifications over the years. We have incorporated dog and cat images into our designs to reflect our position in the community as Local Vets For Local Pets . 152A Great South Road, Takanini, Auckland, 2112 P. Dr Christie McDonald recently completed an advanced internal medicine course through the University of Sydney and Dr Eckhard Stalmann recently joined us after completing a surgical residency at Veterinary Specialist Group in Auckland, bringing with him all the latest knowledge and skills.
Veterinary Associates’ hospital in Auckland is one of Australasia’s most modern veterinary hospitals. It is dedicated exclusively to the care and treatment of dogs, cats and other small animals. Dr Clinning will be attending the World Small Animal Veterinary Association congress in Cape Town later this year. Her special area of interest is small animal medicine which involves the diagnosis and treatment of complicated disease conditions.
Our vets are members of the New Zealand Veterinary Association and the Companion Animal Society. Recent upgrades at the hospital include digital x rays, new monitoring equipment, an electrosurgical unit, the addition of new surgical instrumentation, new ultrasonic cleaners and lot of other equipment. Our Mission Statement is Quality, Affordable Care and we will do our utmost to exceed your requirements and expectations
